Disappointing Products
Since I'm not feeling so great at the moment, this will be the time to make this post! lol
These are products that haven't worked for me, but they may work for you.
BUT I will explain why they didn't work for me, etc.
Starting from the top left (clockwise):
Etude House Makeup Sponge
This sponge is not as soft as I had imagined... it's actually quite stiff and reminds me of
those wedge sponges you get at the Dollar store. I tried to spray it with water to dampen
it, as well as soaking and wringing out the water with the whole sponge. Neither way
worked with how I wanted for applying my foundation. It was kind of stiff and didn't have
enough of that 'bounce' you want from a makeup sponge. I found that the wedge sponges
from Quo worked so much better than this.
The Face Shop Cherry Blossom Hair Mist
Okay, this is my fault. I don't even know why I bought this because I'm not into fragrances
and why would I need a hair mist... I don't know >< It's one of those products where you
just kind of pick up even though you don't need it at all. I like the scent from the opening of
the spray but it's kind of strong once you spray it. It's supposed to help with the sebum at
the roots of your hair, but I didn't find that it did anything at all.
Vichy Normaderm Anti-Imperfection Concealing stick
I have light skin, so this didn't work for me because the concealer is a bit orange. It might
work with people who have medium skin, or if you have a bit of a tan. It's creamy enough
to blend with your fingers though, so can come in handy, but since this is the only shade they
had for this particular product, I think it's a fail >>
Quo Heated Eyelash Curler
So, I've always wanted to try the Panasonic heated eyelash curlers, so when I saw this at
Shoppers Drug Mart, I was like oh cool. This doesn't work at all. It feels nice against your
lashes because it warms up, but it literally did nothing but warm up my eyelashes.

Devita Solar Protective Moisturizer SPF 30+
This is a great daily moisturizer for the summer time!
This may be my new favourite morning moisturizer :)
My Skin: Combination/oily and sometimes dehydrated
Pros:
☆ absorbs pretty quickly into the skin
☆ very lightweight, when I first used it, it reminded me of light whipped cream cheese haha
☆ matte finish on the skin when absorbed
☆ reasonably priced ($20-25)
☆ good 75ml of product!
☆ has a considerably good amount of sun protection! SPF30+
☆ kind of smells like almond tofu >> is it just me?
☆ small, compact packaging, great for travel!
Cons:
☆ sometimes, it leaves a tiny drop(not even) of dried product from the
top of the cap... it reminds me of dried glue but it can be blended away
☆ not easily accessible (in stores)... I bought mine on iherb.com
Active Ingredient:
Zinc oxide 19%
Ingredients:
Aloe barbadensis* (aloe vera gel), purified water (aqua),
capric/caprylic triglycerides (derived from coconut oil), glycerin (vegetable),
hyaluronic acid (vegan source), glyceryl stearate SE (derived from vegetable oil),
stearic acid, lecithin phospholipid, tocopherol (vitamin E), allantoin,
vitis vinifera (grape) seed extract.
Would I buy it again?
Yes, especially for the summer time. I don't think I would use this for the winter time.
I'm not sure if it will be hydrating enough, since it leaves an apparent matte finish.

Favourite May Etsy Finds ♡
I just wanted to share some of my favourite shops on Etsy!
I think I might do this monthly :p
Handmade backpacks by FYMwear
They are approx. $80-85
These backpacks are so lovely! I love the floral one ♡
Their backpacks are named after different European countries :)
The one on the left is "Finland" and the right is "Holland" (which should be Netherlands lol)
I'm sure some of you know Kani from K is for Kani (her blog) :)
but she also makes beautiful floral head accessories :)
k is for kani Her accessories are about $32+
I think the price is putting me off...
There are other sellers who make similar head pieces as well,
but they're not as intricate/beautiful to look at :)
BagyBags handmade bags/backpacks
These are so cute! They have a laptop compartment too, but it's not really padded >>
They are approx. $95. They also sell totes and other bags for $40+
Illuminated Perfume sells... yep, you guessed it :) perfume!
But what's so special? the reusable locket packaging! :)
They are eco-friendly/natural perfumes :)
They are approx. $85, but they also sell samples(picture on the right)!
That's all for now :) I will share some more at the end of June :)
Have a great weekend! I will most likely be doing a nail design post tomorrow :)
