Pink Powder Acne Treatments!

I have been using the Mario Badescu Drying lotion for the past year
and a half? It has been working wonderfully for me, but I don't really
want to pay $20 for a small bottle with shipping on their official website.
I started searching for products with the same ingredients and found 3.

Here is a list of the different pink powder acne treatments:
01. AC Clinic powder spot treatment ($14)
The seller from eBay gave me a whole mini set instead of just the pink
powder spot treatment  ._. I wasn't expecting that at all. It came with a
small sample jar of a post acne brightening balm and cotton swabs! :)
02. Mario Badescu Drying Lotion ($17)
03. Dr. Looretta Good Nightspot treatment ($18)
04. Clinicians Complex Acne drying lotion ($33)

They all contain the following ingredients:
Isopropyl Alcohol, Water, Camphor, Sulfur, Salicylic Acid,
Zinc Oxide, and Iron Oxides

The AC Clinic is the only one that contains extra ingredients like:
Hinoki Cypress Extract, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Perilla Ocymoides
Seed Extract, Ampelopsis Japonica Root Extract, Carica Papaya Fruit Extract,
Allium Cepa (onion) Bulb Extract, and fragrance

My personal routine/experience:
I use the treatment only before going to bed.
When I wake up in the morning, the first thing I do is use a very hot,
wet towel to remove the powdered spots on my face, then I use an oxygen
peeling gel to exfolite the areas I used the acne treatment. If I don't exfoliate,
my skin becomes very flaky and dry = impossible to wear makeup without
looking like a flaking zombie =p

Speckled tights

I bought these speckled tights 1-2 weeks ago from Asos.
They are still having their sales so check them out! =p
There wasn't really anything that caught my eye, but I really
liked these tights. They would be perfect for the holiday! :)

and yumm chicken noodles!
(I had this on Saturday but still worthy to share! lol)

My current nail design, full of stars!

Base: Sally Hansen Green tea & Olive base coat
Colour: Nubar 'Unpredictable Taupe' (1 coat and beautiful application/colour!)
Design: Konad M84
Glitter: CM glitter
Top: Konad top coat

I received a Holiday catalogue from Intermix this morning.
I had no idea they would send catalogues, but I was happy :)
I think I registered, but probably not going to purchase anything
from the site as I seriously cannot afford it =p They sell designer
apparel, shoes, handbags, and accessories. They have stores in the
United States and one store in Toronto. I loved the texture of the lace!

October Glymm box

So, I said I wouldn't get another Glymm box, but I didn't know
I would be automatically charged every month, unless I cancel
the membership -.- so this will be my last box for the year!

I was happy to receive the box though! :) this month's box was
perfect for me. It came with 2 full size products (the Principessa
Lip Balm $11 and the Lise Watier Lip Kiss crayon Gloss $18)!
It also came with a Principessa foot balm, which I was in need of!
and a Caudalie Premier Cru Cream, which was a nice little touch.
Of course, they added in their awesome jelly beans! yum =p

I've been using the Principessa lip balm and foot balm every day!
Both of them have a slightly sweet scent, but works quite well :)

I will definitely be getting a box for my birthday next year :)
You can also buy 3 month gift subscriptions for a friend!

This is really random, but I've been meaning to purchase some
nice coloured pens for note taking/agenda etc. I like searching on
eBay for unique finds and things from South Korea. Most of them
tend to give you an extra small gift for buying from them and this
seller gave me 2 lovely postcards by a Korean illustrator named,
Kim Ji Hyuck :) I'm a big fan of anything Pippi Longstocking so... <3

I like to write with thin point pens, so I bought the .38mm Jelly pens :)
They work wonderfully! and nothing like Gel pens... more like ink

You can purchase the pens here :)

Runway Ready nails

The nude/dark tips always reminded me of the runway, especially for Fall/Winter :)

Base: Sally Hansen Green Tea & Olive base coat
Colour: OPI 'Sand in My Suit' (2 coats and I love this polish/shade!)
Design: Konad M19 (french tip), M45 (animal print in silver)
Top: Konad top coat

The OPI polish is definitely my nude lol =p
Are you a fan of nude polishes?
I think they make your fingers look longer and more groomed.

This is what I decided to wear to work. It's getting really cold where I live :(

Shirt: H&M. Cardigan & Jeans: Zipia, net. Belt: Ardene.

I've started watching Hart of Dixie, featuring Rachel Bilson :)
I'm liking the show so far and can't wait for episode 4!
I like Zoe Hart's style in the show as well :)

Shutterfly review!

My very first Shutterfly order!

I've been wanting to create a photobook for my parents (and secretly for myself) :)
I remember hearing about Shutterfly and it seemed like they had the 'best quality'
in terms of searching around, website appeal, etc. I know there's a very inexpensive
website called ArtsCow, but it does lack in quality... just a bit... but if you just want
photos placed inside a book, then they will do the job :)

The photobook is comprised of our trip to Europe... back in the summer of 2010! XD

My order came in a pizza-like shaped box! and I love the orange!

This is what you will see when you first open the box, how cute :)

and your book is safely placed inside (it had a plastic cover, but I took it off)

It took forever to arrive though... considering it's from the States and I live in Canada ><
There were supposed to be delays from Canada Post, but I received my other mails.
I even received a pen I ordered from Korea within' 5-7 days.

The photobook took about 3 weeks to arrive ._.
Let's just say... that I was getting very impatient ><
but I am happy with my order... the photos turned out nicely

As for the pricing, I think it is very reasonable.
If you were to print this yourself and bind it... I would say that
it would cost you well over $50-100. I like how Shutterfly offers
a variety of template designs as well. My book came out to around
$43 (I added additional pages). Shipping was around $10 ><but
this book will be with me for a very long time and my parents were
never able to properly see the vacation photos, since they were always
on my laptop... I decided to just print them out, and let them keep it :)

and my nails for the past week :)
Just something simple :) I'm planning on doing a darker look this weekend :)

Base: Sally Hansen Green Tea & Olive base coat
Colour: OPI 'Glitzerland'
Design: Konad M3 (I used one of the stars)
Top: Konad top coat
