WINNERS picks

Okay, this is a SUPER quick video lol :p
I just thought that I would share what I just picked up at Winners :)
I saw this other cute bag but it was a little defected... too bad >>

The green bag is very practical and great for travel, amusement park trips :)
Too bad, I can't wear the top just yet... still quite cold where I live -.-

They still have that top in various sizes for $16.99.
I picked up the last bag, but it might still be available at other locations for $49.99.

Thought I could also sneak in my nails XD since I didn't take photos of them.

Principessa Dry Shampoo for Darker Shades

I was very curious to see how this dry shampoo would work for darker hair.
Let's just say... I had a bad first experience ><

So, the holes you see below, cannot be rotated to get smaller holes or even a small section.
I usually just pour a little bit onto my hair, near the roots. For this dry shampoo, you can
actually feel a cooling sensation once it touches your scalp. So clearly, I either put too much
or it isn't supposed to go directly to your scalp, but my hair became quite powdery ><

It also left a slightly light brown cast on the top of my head. As I was in a hurry to go to class,
I checked in the mirror once again - still powdery/chalky looking. I decided to spray on some
grape water onto the top of my head and comb it out. It looked fine, until about 10 minutes later,
I checked my hair again before I left the house, and it left my hair looking even worse. I had
white specks of powder on the surface of my hair and I was freaking out. I seriously did not want
to leave the house looking like the way I did lol >< It even left a brown stain on my scalp ><

BUT this dry shampoo does indeed absorb oil - very well actually and has a nice light scent.
I would just avoid pouring anything from the container itself. Pour some onto your hands,
then work it into the roots of your hair.

Positive Notes
☆ Absorbs oil, keeps your hair looking grease-free all day
☆ Light scent, if lightly used
☆ Darker shade to suit darker hair

Negative Notes
☆ Can leave a light brown cast, if there is too much powder
☆ Leaves a brown stain on the scalp, if being poured directly from the container
☆ The scent might not smell as nice, if you pour too much
☆ Difficult to find (I bought mine at spaboutique.ca)

Would I buy it again?
Honestly, no... because the tint leaves a stain and you have to be careful.
I'd rather use a white powder that absorbs quickly without leaving any stain.
It works very well, but I like to be low maintenance lol :p
I am personally liking the dry shampoo from Acure Organics.

iHerb and Etude House

New skincare products to try out!
☆ Badger's Damascus Rose Antioxidant Face Oil
☆ Avalon Organics Vitamin C Renewal Serum
I want to see how this serum compares to the Mad Hippie serum :)

☆ Etude House Proof 10 Auto Pencil in Ash Brown
The ingredients list isn't looking so bad!
No Parabens, Paraffins, or Phthalates on the list!
There is Carmine at the end of the list though ><
I try to avoid Carmine, but I didn't know...

I also bought another can of Pumpkin Pie Mix,
so that I can make breakfast muffins :p

A simple outfit of the day :) Top from H&M and skirt from Zipia.net :)

Koji No.71 Eyelash Curler

An eyelash curler, fit for my eye shape!
Introducing the lovely Koji No.71 eyelash curler :)

I also really enjoy the cushion in the eyelash curler.
The design is quite nice and smart!
With the regular round cushioned eyelash curlers, they tend to not do anything
to my lashes unless I crimped and pressed really hard. With this cushion, it helps
the lashes to sit in place and curl without having to press hard.

Here is a comparison with the Quo Gold Eyelash Curler.
The Quo eyelash curler has more of a flat, wide curve, which does not suit my eyes.
While the Koji eyelash curler, has more of a curve that sits nicely on my lash line.
The Koji eyelash curler would curl all my lashes around, while the Quo eyelash curler
would miss the end of my lash line, leaving a few lashes uncurled.

Hope this helped people with more of a curved eye shape/almond eye shape.

Laneige Silk Intense Lipstick

*WARNING: This is not a natural beauty product review >>
It is a true Fangirl moment review for me lol

This lovely lipstick is Laneige's 'Silk Intense Lipstick' in SYR36 Chiffon Beige :)
It took me a while to find this lipstick, since it was sold out on most online shops.
Hopefully, they will still have some in stock here :)

This is a very silky smooth lipstick!
It has a little bit of a sweet scent... I can't really explain the scent.
I am impressed with the formula though, it is very comfortable to wear.
I've been looking for a neutral pink nude and I'm really happy with this shade :)

Sorry, if you found the large photo of me unpleasant lol ><

This is a capture of Song Hye Kyo in the KDrama, "That Winter, The Wind Blows",
applying the lipstick and I'm assuming every fan wanted to know which colour it was :)

Sorry, this was not a natural beauty post but I will be doing one very soon!

Chloe Fall/Winter 2013/14 Runway

I just finished watching the Chloe Fall/Winter 2013/14 collection,
which was broadcasted around late afternoon today :) These are
just some of the pieces I liked from the runway.

I am loving the handbags they were carrying, especially the big weekender
bags that have been quite popular the past year. It reminded me of one of the
bags from Pour La Victoire.

I also loved the thick structured belts and the finely structured coats!

All the models were wearing chunky high heeled oxfords.
I can't wait to wear my pair in the spring!

I saw some cape coats as well, not sure if I can pull it off though :p
Watch the show here, if you missed it :)
