My Favourite Biodegradable Products ♡

As you may all know by now, I like to be more eco-friendly and have been

trying to reduce the amount of waste I produce. I have compiled a list of

some of my favourite biodegradable products!

To be even more eco-friendly, I have decided to take the natural fibre clothing challenge!

I just made it up, but if it's actually a thing, then yay! :p

Meaning... I will try to buy only clothing made from

100% Cotton, Linen, Silk, Wool, Cashmere, and Hemp :)
If you know of any other natural fibres, please let me know!

♡ Silver Hills Sprouted Bakery Breads/Bags

I love their bread. I have only tried the Ancient Grains Big Red's and The Queen's Khorasan.

Their plastic bags are also biodegradable. Yay! Their breads are also super nutritious,

organic and non-GMO.

♡ Pela iPhone Cases

These beautiful iPhone cases are made with flax straw! Unfortunately, they only

have cases for the iPhone, but I'm hoping they'll expand to other phones as well.
The cases have a smooth texture and the right amount of thickness.
This is also a Canadian company :)

♡ The Green Beaver Company Shampoos & Conditioner

I am trying out the whole shampoo line and I'm really enjoying the lavender :)

Fine Lavender is used in the ingredients list and many of you may not know this, but

there are many types of lavender! They all have different uses :)

Fine Lavender (Lavendula Augustifolia) is commonly used in aromatherapy, which helps to

promote relaxation! It has a complex sweet, refreshing and woody scent cultivated in the

south of France. I also have Fine Lavender essential oil for my diffuser and I love

using it in the evenings before going to bed :) Kashmir Lavender is also good for that.

I also love Matter Company's Biodegradable Soaps, especially the Rose!

I can't seem to find it on their website :( I bought mine at the One of a Kind Show in Toronto.

Battle of the phone cases!

My iPhone 3GS recently half died on me >>
meaning, I can't receive or make calls but I have wifi >>

So I'm supposed to 'upgrade' to a new phone since I have a 3 year contract
with my phone company. It was really a battle between the HTC sensation
or the Samsung galaxy s2. I have been reading reviews online and watching
various youtube videos, but ultimately... they are both pretty good and it really
depends on personal preference/what you want to do with your phone. I am
most likely going to get the Samsung galaxy s2...

why? because...
01. It's made in South Korea... and I love anything from Korea so.... >>
02. The colours are more sharp
03. The phone is physically lighter, slimmer, and more sleek looking
04. ok this doesn't relate but I am in love with Android now!

I still like the iPhone, but I haven't had much luck with Apple... in terms
of the longevity of use >> my macbook pro died before reaching 3 years old...
my iPhone 3GS half died in about a year and a half... how sad...

and those are just some of the cases I'm thinking of... it's kind of hard to find
non hard-case cases that have nice designs -.- of course... the iPhone 4 has a
ton of awesome case designs... but not as much for the Galaxy s2... yet =\

and I would never really use the Swarovski bear phone case... it's cute though =p
I love the rose, pearl, diamond case though! very elegant and pretty :) but personally
I do prefer more simple cases and they must be durable because I can be clumsy and
rough with my phone >> I've dropped my iPhone 3GS at least 3-5 times ><

and my awesome nails :D

21 Drops Aromatherapy

These aromatherapy blends are quite intriguing =] I believe they're $28 each(8.5ml) and there are 21 different blends. Each of the blends are for specific needs. They are natural essential oils that target a certain part of the body. I'm not very good at explaing so here is a little description from www.21drops.com.

"When essential oils are inhaled through the nose, aromatic molecules are carried through the lining of the nasal cavity via tiny olfactory nerves, located in the roof of the inner nose, to the part of the brain called the limbic system. The limbic system in turn influences the endocrine system and the autonomic nervous system." - 21 Drops

Which one are you?

I would probably get myself PMS, Moody, Distracted, Powerless?, and Sleepless? =p

I wonder what these really smell like though, love the packaging =]

Apple Blueberry muffins!

yah, I made these and I also made up my own ingredients lol =p

- 1 cup self rising flour
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup low fat blueberry yogurt
- 1 chopped apple
makes a dozen muffins (12)

mix away!

smells delicious! and this actually tastes quite good, it isn't too sweet like the ones you buy in stores <3

I was caving for cereal this morning when I woke up and what do you know!? =p there was a free Kashi cereal box in my mail! lol I forgot I had ordered a sample from their website about 3-4 weeks ago =p

I received the honey almond flavour, which was really yummy =p sorry for the poor quality of the photos >> I took them with my phone because I had already poured the milk and didn't want my cereal to sog =p There was also a $2 coupon inside the box =]

iPhone 3GS vs. LG Xenon

There isn't much to compare but I need help deciding on which phone I should get for my 3 year plan >< the iPhone is a bit pricey and I don't know if I should pay that extra money while I can pay a lot less for the Xenon. The iPhone with my 3 year plan is at $200 and the Xenon at $50.

I have to say that I am already used to the iPhone applications and everything and I have not used the Xenon in person. I have been watching some reviews for the Xenon on Youtube and found that it had a quick response time comparable to the iPhone. I don't really like the QWERTY keyboard on the Xenon and the iPhone is just so irresistible ><

The Xenon is a bit more bulky but it's smaller than the iPhone. Xenon has a touch resistant screen so it needs a bit of pressure when touching the applications. I will most likely get the iPhone but the Xenon could be an option if something happens >>
