indecisiveness

I decided to order a toner on iherb.com on March 13 and just got my
package this morning... I have been waiting forever! or at least it seemed
like it >< I've been trying to look for more natural, basic, inexpensive
alternatives when buying skincare. I used to look for products that would
contain a ton of ingredients, but now I realized that simple is better.

For new customers, you get $5 off your first purchase.
I have a personal code... feel free to use it :p IJI628

For a toner, I was looking for something that contained witch hazel, rose water,
and some form of a moisturizing ingredient = Thayers Rose Petal Witch Hazel
with Aloe Vera toner! :) what a lovely match :)

I believe this was around $6-7 and because it was my first time shopping
on there, I received an $8 discount for the month of March (usually $5).
Shipping was $6, so I basically paid $6 for this toner + shipping :D but
now I realized that I should have ordered more... because of the shipping
time >< I wanted to try the Acure dry shampoo but they were out of
stock... then the next day after I ordered, they were in stock -.-

After class, I decided to go to Shoppers to pick up a few items, since some of
the things I eventually need/wanted were on sale :D plus I had a coupon to get
20x the points :p so I couldn't let that opportunity get away :p

I picked up the Livingetc magazine, which is now currently my favourite
living/interior design magazine :) I also picked up my go-to acne treatment,
the Vichy Normaderm Active Anti-Imperfection Concentrate. I have always
wanted to try their acne concealer stick, so I picked that up as well. I thought
it would be a good item to have in my purse, to the beach, to travel, etc :)

I have been hunting for a new eyelash curler and the Quo eyelash curler (in gold),
has clearly and ultimately FAILED me >> it's too wide and flat for my eye shape ><
I think I'm going to sell it, as I already opened the package :( I was choosing between
the Quo and the Revlon, I should have gone with my instincts and went with Revlon -.-
The Quo eyelash curler does curl well though, just needs a bit of adjusting to :(

Last item... my Schick Quattro :) self explanatory :p

no nail post this week sorry :( I'm supposed to go get an MRI scan this Friday
on my hand/arm, so my mom told me to not wear any nail polish? although I'm
still not sure how that relates... does it? =\

I love it... but why!?

I was at Shoppers earlier to pick up a mosquito repellent and I went into the makeup section of the store... which I really shouldn't have in the first place -.-

I saw this trio eyeshadow by Annabelle and fell in love. Then I read the ingredients and it was made with a bunch of unnecessary amount of junk and chemicals that is not good for the skin. I LOVE the shades (trio called 'Blue Hue') and I was going to purchase it, but I just put it back ><

Then I noticed the Revlon Super Lustrous lipsticks on sale for $5.99! and I fell in love with the shade 'Prim Rose' and from their Moondrops line, 'Persian Melon' and 'Blase Apricot' <3 I didn't buy them though... even though I think I should have... I really have until tomorrow to decide >< sale ends tomorrow!

Sometimes I ask myself, I'm only living for a period of time... and these products have been around for so many years. Am I really overreacting about the ingredients? should I just buy what I like in store without really caring how they are made or what they are made out of?

But by not buying these products, am I really making a difference? because in my mind, I believe that if we don't support these products, we are making a difference and trying to be aware of what we are potentially doing to the environment.

Bright pink lips

So I've been looking for a bright pink lip colour and Shoppers is having a sale on the new Covergirl Lip Perfection lipsticks ($7.99 until April 8th!), so I decided to get 2 to try... actually I wanted 3, but I just ended up staring at all the lip colours for like an hour >> yah I am so indecisive, it's not even funny lol -.-

I got the shade in 'Enchantress' (bright pink) and 'Rapture' (peachy coral?) and instead of getting the other lipstick in 'Divine' (a purple plum), I picked up the Revlon Super Lustrous Lipgloss instead because I can't really see myself wearing a purple hued lipstick but a gloss is more subtle.

I just put on the lipstick in 'Enchantress' and I am loving it, it's a beautiful colour and it actually flatters me haha I was very surprised, this is going to be my favourite lip colour this season for sure =] I picked up 'Rapture' because the Etude House VIP lipstick was just too dry and I can't wear it, so I needed another peachy coral/orange lip colour to replace it, I'll see how that goes... another day =]

[EDIT-April 6]
I returned the lipstick in 'Rapture' as it was extremely drying for me and did not show up as I had wanted on my lips. It's still a nice colour though, probably for someone who has less pigmented lips. I like 'Enchantress' just wish it wasn't a frost because it does get very drying on me. I love wearing 'Enchantress' and then the 'Lilac Pastelle' on top, very pretty =]
