100% Pure Purifying Seaweed Facial Mask Review

This is a very unique facial mask!
As you can see from the photos above, the powder gradually turns
into a liquid 'paste' and the leaves actually grow out! Most likely
from the seaweeds and the peppermint leaves :)

Ingredients: Organic Seaweeds(Kelp, Agar Agar, Bladderwrack), French Green Clay,

Alpha Lipoic Acid, Vitamin C (calcium ascorbate), Organic Peppermint Leaves

I was really surprised and intrigued by the formula, seems like magic lol

I'm a sucker for magic even though I know it's not technically 'real' =p

Magic just lights up my mood. I think the best performance I have ever

seen was when I went to Hawaii back in around 2002? It was called the

Magic of Polynesia :) be sure to check it out if you ever visit Hawaii!

Pros:

- easy to use (just add a bit of water)
- you can mix this with yogurt, tea, or fruit juice as well

- leaves the skin smooth

- reduces redness

- nice treatment for the skin

- brightens the complexion

- face feels refreshed after washing off
- good for oily skin, especially during the summer

- good amount of product for the price/ingredients!
- in a sturdy glass jar (would definitely reuse!)

Cons:

- smells like raw kelp/seaweed when water is added

  (only if you don't like the smell of raw seaweed ><)

- doesn't really do anything for my pores
- can be a tiny bit messy when applying because when used
with water, it doesn't really turn into a paste and some of the
liquid tends to drip off the face from the chin ><
- can be a bit drying after, especially being used in the winter
  (I have combination/oily skin but my skin tends to be a bit dry
   during the winter time >< I should use this in the summer)

How I use it:
- make sure the face is cleansed
- mix the powder with a bit of water while using a small brush
- apply the liquid to the entire face excluding the eye area
- wait 5-10 minutes, then rinse it off
- pat dry with a towel

I really like this product and have used it for 2 weeks.

I'm not sure if I would repurchase this again just because I like

to try other products, but this is definitely worth looking into!

Asos Fur Snood . $13.07cad
I've been wanting a faux fur stool or scarf for a while
and Asos had this particular faux fur snood on sale! It
looked cute on the model, so I decided to get it. It's
quite massive in person lol =p I had to wear it to show
you how it looks because taking a photo of it by itself
looked flat and awkward ><

I recently purchased a few things from 100% Pure because
they had a $50 or over Free Shipping :) I needed a new toner
and I liked their Hydrating Tonique. It really does help to keep
my skin somewhat clear throughout the month.

I wanted to try their Purity Cleanser + Mask and compare it to
the Naruko Acne Clay Cleanser. They have the same concept
where you can either use it as a mask or as a daily cleanser.

I have been eying at their Seaweed Facial Mask! I know that skincare
products that contain a fair amount of algae or kelp helps to improve
the skin's texture and balances the oil. Plus, it's light green! :) All you
have to do is mix it with water or yogurt to create a paste :) yum.

My hair is always frizzy, especially during the winter >< 100% Pure
offers hair care products as well, so I decided to try their Glossy Locks
Smooth & Moisture Hair Balm :) it works quite well and is very light.
I don't feel it on my hair at all and it's not greasy!

Ok I kind of have a negative comment for the 100% Pure Mascara (mini).
First off, I never wear mascara so I can't really compare it to other brands
but I have used other brands in the past. This mascara has a dry formula,
and is supposed to help hold the lashes better especially if you have shorter
eyelashes. I personally have neither short or long lashes... I'm quite happy
with the length of my lashes to be honest. I'll make a list of the Pros/Cons:
Pros:
- smells like blueberries (literally!)
- lengthens the lashes
- separates the lashes
- pigmented
- holds the curl, but not for the whole day
- doesn't sting my eyes within' an hour
(this is why I don't wear mascara because they sting my eyes ><)
Cons:
- dry formula (not for everyone)
- clumps a tiny tiny bit near the tips of the lashes
- a bit messy to use when applying... it somehow transfers
onto my lid, no matter how much I tilt my head up or down ><
- brush may be a bit too big
- doesn't hold the curl for the whole day

So it was the week of Halloween when I made my order and
you get a full size Dark Chocolate Syrup Bubble Bath with
a purchase of $75+. I'm planning on giving this as a gift just
because I never take bubble baths at home and honestly... who
wouldn't want a dark chocolate bubble bath!? yummy =p

I'm not a huge fan of florals or anything powdery. I do like a tinge of
Jasmine and _______ (can't remember the flower -.-).

100% Pure makeup & Orgnx!

I recently had to order a new toner and I have been wanting to try their concealer and foundation for a while now. The powder wasn't necessary but I didn't want to pay for shipping so might as well get something I would like to try in the future as well. I'm really glad I did... the foundation and powder is AMAZING for OILY SKIN! =p

My shade is in White Peach (2nd lightest shade they have).

Healthy Skin Foundation (Full Coverage-Satin Finish) SPF 20
I'm not sure if this is full coverage... maybe medium to full because you can kind of build it but it does cover pretty well, evens out the skin tone (I only use a tiny tiny amount so I can't say much for the coverage). The one problem with this foundation is that it dries super quick once you start spreading it onto your face... I use my fingers and I literally have to drag some of the foundation on my face for it to spread. Otherwise I think it's fantastic and would definitely repurchase again because I'm surprised at how well it controls the oil on my face! =]

Nourishing Concealer SPF 20
Okay, I don't think this concealer is nourishing... it's alright >< it kind of sucks as an under eye concealer. People with dry skin should not use this because I have combination/oily skin and I find this drying... >> it doesn't work well with covering acne because it flakes. I like to use this after the foundation to just cover post acne marks. I wouldn't buy this concealer again ><

Foundation Powder SPF 20
I am really liking this powder, it controls oil extremely well and helps to even out the skin tone. This is kind of similar to my PUR Minerals 4 in 1 pressed powder but works MUCH better at controlling oil.

I put on my makeup around 10:30 this morning and I haven't had to touch up for 7 hours. My face is starting to look a tiny bit dewy now but it doesn't look greasy. I usually have to blot my face after coming home from a small errand ex. going to the bank, but I didn't have to do that at all today because my face just looked great =]

I went to Shoppers to pick up a new dry shampoo because I'm running out of my Batiste =] I picked up the Orgnx Hair Reviver (made in Canada!!! =p) and was on sale for $8.49 (save $2) =] I haven't tried this out yet. It's not a powder but a liquid spray that works similar to a dry shampoo. It contains brown rice and moringa (plant) and is also natural. PLUS, a tree is planted with every purchase <3 smells nice too =] a bit too strong for my nose but that's because I took a sniff out of the bottle itself >>

100% Pure Purity Hydrating Tonique

Unfortunately the cap broke in the mail >< I really like the bottle, very simple and elegant. I decided to give this toner a try because I'm almost done with my Naruko Niaouli & Tea Tree toner.

One MAJOR problem for me with this hydrating tonique is the smell!!! =[ I can't really stand it... I don't like the scent at all. I'm hoping that the toner will work for me >< I'll start using it tonight and let you guys know after the weekend! I have a feeling I won't repurchase because of the smell ><

01. 100% Pure Eucalyptus Seafoam Cleanser
This was one of the first products I had tried from 100% Pure and was really happy with it. This cleanser is great for oily/acne prone skin and I love how fresh this feels on your face during and after washing it off.

02. Naruko Niaouli & Tea Tree Cleanser/Mask
This is great for using it as a daily cleanser or a mask. I like to leave this on for 1-3 minutes when I have the extra time in the morning. It feels very cooling and fresh and especially great for the summer. it really does clean your face by removing dirt around the centre of the face.

03. Naruko Niaouli & Tea Tree Night Gelly
I love this night gelly. I use it as a night time moisturizer and it helps to control excess sebum. My face looks pretty good the next morning after using this. I love the texture of this product, it's amazing =] It feels really nice on the skin and I love the packaging. It also came with a small spatula to pick up the product.

04. Naruko Niaouli & Tea Tree Serum
I like using this serum day and night. It helps to even out the skin tone and is a great primer for the morning especially if you have oily skin. This helps to control the oil throughout the day pretty well.

05. 100% Pure Coffee Bean Eye Cream
I love the smell of this eye cream! I don't really see a difference after using this product but I think I would buy it again because I really like the texture and smell. This also absorbs quickly. It's smells like french vanilla coffee... yum yum =p

06. Mario Badescu Drying Lotion
This actually works for me. I don't care how drying it is, but it really helps with getting down to the pimple. My pimples usually go away the next morning or within' 3 days.

Naruko & 100% Pure skincare update

Naruko Niaouli & Tea Tree serum (30ml)
I really like this serum, it helps to even out your skin tone and balance the oil on your face. I use this in the morning after toner and before my moisturizer. This only lasted me 3/4 months =[ I didn't expect it to finish so quickly. I buy my Naruko products from www.beautyeshop.co.uk. I would definitely purchase this again, but I want to try the 100% Pure Red Wine Reservatol serum next =]

100% Pure Pomegranate Antioxidant Hydration with SPF 20 (50ml)
I have been using this moisturizer for the past year and it's almost done. You can't see it in the photo that well -.- but there's less than half an inch in the 2nd bottle in the photo. The last bottle in the photo is a new packaged version of the moisturizer I recently got on eBay. I usually always buy from the official 100% Pure website (www.100percentpure.ca), but I didn't want to pay for shipping -.- for just one item.

This is a moisturizer for all skin types. I have combination/oily skin and it does a pretty good job. I wouldn't recommend this for really dry skin though because the sides of my nose gets really dry during the winter, but this moisturizer doesn't keep that area moisturized as well. It absorbs well and it has a slight avocado smell which I love <3 it's very subtle though.

I will keep buying this product until I find another moisturizer that's natural and has at least SPF 15/20. I've been searching, but can't find any others except for the Juicy Beauty apple moisturizer with SPF 15.

beauty travel case ♡

wow I have been wanting to make a post since last week? >< anyway I got myself a beauty traveling case for the summer when going on vacation =] I bought the case at my local superstore and was the last one left. I have been using the 100%pure facial cleanser, toner and moisturizer for almost 2 weeks now and I really like it... the first time using the cleanser felt amazing XD like flying through the arctic >> it was very fresh but now that I'm used to it, I don't find it as refreshing. It still has the tingly feeling when washing it off my face.

The cleanser and toner really tightens up my face and makes my face quite dry after. It made my face look matte and clean in the morning though =p no more oil *yay* The moisturizer is great and I only use it in the morning but it also helps with my sebum control. I noticed that my face gets less oily throughout the day and is a great primer before putting on any kind of makeup/tinted moisturizer. It makes my face feel smooth =]

I made my bf try on one of the masks =p lol I got myself the foot scrub and the tea tree mask but didn't try it out yet >>

100% pure honey almond lotion

I just put on another lotion sample from 100% pure and I LOVE it =p omg it reminded me of almond tofu, a chinese dessert which I love <3 the almond scent is sweet but subtle... it's so lovely =p I can't stop smelling it lol XD I'll definitely be buying the hand lotion for fall/winter =]

100% pure honey pear body cream

I just opened the sample packet of the honey pear body cream. The scent is rather strong and it definitely smells like honey and pear, while more of pear. I put it on my whole body and after a while... I kind of get sick of it >< I'm sick of smelling it right now and it's giving me a headache >< I guess I am quite scent sensitive >< I don't like strong smells... but if you like strong scents, you might like this body cream.

100% pure update

I received my peppermint toner and peach glow lip/cheek tint this morning =] which completes my new skin care 'kit' and I tried the tinted moisturizer in 'peach bisque' but it was a shade darker than I thought >< I was originally planning on buying another shade darker but I'm glad I didn't =p apparently my skin is quite light >> even though I always imagine it to be light/medium >< I'm just hoping it would work well when I'm tanned in the summer... because I always get tanned in summer >> but then again... I hope it doesn't become too light for my skin lol =p I'm willing to sell it for $35-$40 because I only used a few small pumps.

I tried out the lip/cheek tint this morning right when I got it =p it didn't work that well on my lips... but that's maybe because I put it straight on from the stick... it should work better if you pat it with your fingers. I pat the colour onto my cheek with my fingers and I really liked the subtle colour/glow. You can also slowly build up the colour, which I like =] (I'm wearing it in the picture below =])

I also got these pair of chopsticks from my cousins friend... he got them from Japan =] was very nice and let me choose one =]

I just received a package from 100% pure with the products I ordered just 4 days ago! they are super quick and I didn't expect to get them until maybe a week! =p I am so excited. I can't wait to try them out when I'm done with my old skin care products =]

I love the eucalyptus cleanser. It smells a bit minty <3 I also got the pomegranate moisturizer with SPF 20 and the tinted moisturizer in Peach Bisque. I haven't tried any of them yet but I'll be sure to post an update of how good they might be to my skin =]
